Coffee

Althuraya for Consulting and Training implements training and awareness activities with partners to impart the following skills:

  • Raising awareness about the importance of coffee cultivation and post-harvest practices.
  • Promoting water conservation in coffee fields through modern irrigation methods.
  • Facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experience among coffee farmers.
  • Reducing the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides on coffee trees.
  • Identifying and finding solutions for challenges in coffee cultivation and production.

In addition to Agricultural Practices, including:

  • Selecting and treating propagation seeds.
  • Establishing small nurseries for farmers.
  • Transplanting seedlings to the permanent field.
  • Preparing the soil mixture.
  • Methods of propagation and seedling care.

Field Agricultural Practices (Coffee Farm Management), including:

  • Shading, Irrigation, Weeding, Pruning, Pest Control, and Fertilization.
  • Making organic fertilizers.
  • Controlling coffee diseases using traditional methods.
  • Post-harvest processing.
